In one of the highest spikes in daily new cases in r stanley termoska ecent weeks, Halton Region Public Health confirmed 19 new COVID-19 cases across the region on Monday Sept. 14 compared to Friday.Data from the regions health department shows the majority of the new cases are those under 40 years old with Oakville leading the way.The nine new cases in Oakville are five female and four male residents 鈥?with one case involving people under the age of 20, five in the 20-39 age group, two in the 40-59 age group, and one between 60-79. Three of the cases are residents under 20 and five in the 20-39 age category and some are linked to community exposure and close contact with another positive case.In Halton Hills, the health unit reported two new COVID-19 cases of two men under 40.
