HELENA 鈥?Helena city leaders are looking for residents to serve on a temporary steering committee that will help find a new advisory body to oversee the Helena Civic Center and support the arts.Last week, the Helena City Commission voted to dissolve the Civic Centers advisory board, but they announced they were looking to identify or create a new group to provide public input for the facility. The steering committee will help with that search.The city is looking fo af1 r people from a number of gr af1 oups in the community:路 One member representing tourism路 Two members representing the visual and media arts路 One member representing venue management路 Two members representing the previous Civic Center board路 One member representing the Helena Citizens Council路 Two members representing the general communityMayor Wilmot Collins will chair the steering committee.
