A man who ambushed his target in a 2008 killing in West Baltimore pleaded guilty to murder, Baltimore Assistant State s Attorney David Owens said.Danny Battle pleaded guilty to first degree murder and using a handgun in the commission of a crime of violence in the death of Irvin Lawson. Battle was sentenced to life, suspending all but stanley mugs 40 years.Lawson was killed shortly after midnight on January 25, 2008.
